How Much Is This Going To 
Cost Me?

Our service does not involve upfront fees. Our price will vary depending on the amount being refunded. Our fee is deducted from the money refunded. We do not get paid unless you do! 

Why Am I Being Asked For More Information?

Government departments often require more identification once the claim has been submitted. This is normal and we endeavour to ensure your claim is processed as swiftly as possible while adhering to Government department specifications and requirements.

 

Can I Do It Myself?

Can and should are two very different words. Just as you should not represent yourself in Court, you should consider Relay Refunds to claim your lost money, unless you have the knowledge to refund it the correct way. If handled incorrectly the process could become time consuming and expensive. It is better to get it done right.

 

 What If I Do Not Want To Claim?

Not everyone wants to claim their lost money for whatever reason. We offer a service which involves donating your money to a charity of your choice. This is often quite satisfying for our Clients knowing the money they did not want went to a good cause.

What Is Lost Money?

Lost money is a term used to describe money unable to be returned to the owner. It is easy to end up with lost money - even the best kept records can sometimes miss something! Have you ever moved house or opened up a new bank account? Chances are you could have money owing to you.

Where Does The Money Go?

Once a financial institution has made a reasonable effort to reunite an entity with their lost money they are then expected to transfer the money to the Government where it remains until a claim is made. The Australian Government is currently sitting on almost $10 Billion worth of lost money!

How Long Will The Process Take To Claim My Money?

It is hard to put a time frame on the process as it falls out of our hands at various stages. Because we are dealing with busy Government departments we often have to wait for a reply. When we do hear back we are in touch with you as soon as possible. We make a point about being prompt with contacting you.
